Racing Format
The racing will be run on a 500’ 2 lane track with 150’ of compacted clay and 2000’ of shutdown. 25’ wide lanes. Port-A-Tree professional timing system with pro-trees, pre stage, stage, 60’, and E.T. 100% payback. Format and approximate times as follows;

 

      RACER REGISTRATION: 7:30am to 10:00am    


Morning Qualifying--- 9am-11pm (You will have 3 qualifying runs to complete anytime during the session in order to run your best elapsed time to qualify for the main event. Class entry includes 3 qualifying runs, 1 more run can be purchased if desired)


Break for Bracketing--- 1130pm-12pm
Main event--- 12pm-6pm (qualifying E.T.’s in each class will be placed in a bracket (ladder) for the main event and run until there is a winner.)

**Please Note: We strongly recommend using a Tekvest or Safejak for racing in the stock classes however it is not required.

Although recommended the stock class does not require the Snow Flap to be tied down.

Safety Equipment and Procedures
* Safety vest ( safe jack or teck vest ) Recommended but not required in stock class.
* Approved jack stand ( see i.s.r, rules )
* Secured sod flap ( cable from flap to tunnel ) Not required in stock class.
* Enclosed clutch guard ( imp,stock & up )
* Neck brace ( imp, stock & up )
* Full face helmet (Snell Foundation Approval)
* Leather boots (boot must cover the ankle)
* Long sleeve shirt & pants
* Snow flap needs to be tied to running board
* Tether cord and kill switch must be operational (cord not to exceed 20” in length when fully stretched)
* All crew members must wear eye protection in pit area and starting line.
 

Pit Area Safety
* Sled shall not be in motion with out driver having helmet and tether switch in place at all times.
* Sled running on stand must have some one tied to the tether switch at all times
* Sleds moving in pit area under there own power must not exceed clutch engagement speed.
* Imp stock, Pro stock & Modified sleds moving in (hot pit) area must be on a cart and not under there own power.
* No smoking during fueling of sleds.
* Cleaning out the motor before your run is done only at the designated clean out area.
 

Track Safety
* All team members must return to the staging area during your run ( they may not stand behind back stops).
* When entering the shut down area coast straight to a complete stop and then begin your turn to the return lane to retrieve your e.t. results.
